I have been watching Glee since it started. Jackie loves the show and I guess could be considered a “gleek”. I am more of a casual watcher. I like the show ok but, if I missed an episode I wouldn’t think the word is ending. When the show started, the character of Rachel was a bitch. She was the person that you were supposed to hate. They played this pretty well. The last few episodes however, her character has become over the top, downright unbearable. There is a breaking point of annoying and they have made her character that annoying. It is almost embarrassing.
The only thing I can equate it to is the last few seasons of Seinfeld. George Costanza became loud, obnoxious, extra whiney un-funny and just painful to watch. That is how I feel about Rachel Berry. If Glee doesn’t decide to right the ship and get a little better with this. Then my wife will be watching it alone. Especially since it looks like Gwyneth Paltrow’s stint is over. I am not sure why people don’t like her. I think she’s hot.
Tori apparently loves her some Aretha Franklin. She was totally rockin’ out and singing along. SOOO CUTE but of COURSE we did not have the video camera ready. Epic Fail on our part.
