Weekends Are Too Short

Duh! Everyone thinks that they are. On any normal weekend they are too short. When you throw in a wedding, birthday party, holiday, etc. They become even shorter. This weekend we went to a great wedding for my cousin up at Illinois Beach Resort. It was a nice little intimate wedding out on the beach and the reception inside a tent. It was late when we got home but it was a good night sleep because Tori was at grandma’s overnight. Then today we played a little Lego Pirates and then Tori came home. Add in mowing the lawn, which we all know how I feel about that, and the weekend was toast.

 

Next weekend, we have a wedding on Sat, bday party on Sun, and another bday party on Mon. I think the weekend after that we can relax. I think I am going to regret saving all my vacation until the end of the year. Yup, pretty much just some babbling.
